Daily Tours
General tours of Arcosanti are offered seven days a week from 10 am until 4 pm. The general tour lasts approximately one hour and provides a quick but comprehensive introduction to the history and design philosophy of the Arcosanti project, and a walking tour through much of the site. The suggested donation for daily tours is $8.

Specialty Tours
The following specialty tours can be arranged by reservation, when available.

Foreign language tours (approx. 1 hour) can be arranged for non-English speaking visitors, depending on the availability of the guides. This tour lasts approximately 1 hour. Languages available: Italian, German, and Japanese.
The cost for tour is $12 per person and $8 for students. ( $100 minimum for groups smaller than 9, or 13 for students)

Architecture & Planning tours (approx. 2 hours) are conducted by a member of our Planning Department and consist of the general tour plus a tour of the planning office, current construction, and a special session on design development with models and drawings.
The cost for tour is $18 per person and $12 for students. ( $150 minimum for groups smaller than 9, or 13 for students)

Agriculture tours (approx. 1.5 hours) explore Arcosanti's sustainable agriculture program and the 15 acres of fields and gardens located at the base of the site in the scenic Agua Fria River Canyon. We manage a peach orchard, vegetable gardens, prototype greenhouses, a large field and the largest successful Paulownia tree stand in the Western United States. Tours include an explanation of sustainable organic food production, composting, permaculture, desert gardening techniques, greenhouse growing, and an overview of local wildlife and ecosystem.
The cost for tour is $15 per person and $10 for students. ( $120 minimum for groups smaller than 9, or 13 for students)

Bird watching tours (approx. 2.5 hours) can be arranged. These tours include a gentle two mile hike through the Agua Fria Riparian area.
The cost for tour is $18 per person and $12 for students. ( $150 minimum for groups smaller than 9, or 13 for students)

Archaeological tours (approx. 4 hours) take visitors on hiking trails throughout our 860 acre site. From these paths, petroglyphs, pueblo ruins, and other historical/wildlife related scenes are visible.
The cost for tour is $24 per person and $16 for students. ( $200 minimum for groups smaller than 9, or 13 for students)
